Hello, I'm Leasha

If you had told me in the past that I’d be raising spiders on purpose, I would’ve laughed and then checked the room for one. I used to be scared of spiders. Like, fully on board with the “nope, not in my house” mindset.

Then social media did its thing and started showing me spiders that didn’t match the story in my head. They were curious, cartoonishly cute, and surprisingly endearing if I’m being honest. I kept watching, and somewhere along the way curiosity beat fear.

So I leaned in. I started learning everything I could, and the more I understood them, the less scary they became. That fear didn’t disappear overnight, but it slowly turned into respect, and then into genuine love.

Now I breed and raise jumping spiders, which still feels ironic in the best way. It’s slow, patient work. You can’t rush it, and that’s part of why I love it. Watching them grow and change never gets old. It’s quiet, intentional, and a little bit magical every time.

My favorite part is sharing them with people who feel the way I used to. I love that moment when someone goes from “absolutely not” to “okay… wait.” That tiny shift matters so much to me.

I’m still discovering new things every day, and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of learning about, loving, and sharing these incredible little creatures.
